28 FUNSTERS headed down 400 to MARTA to visit the Fox Theater & Margaret Mitchell House.
They "Breezed" on to MARTA and were on the way. (Breeze cards proved to be anything, but !) Atlanta's Fox Theater originally a Shrine
Temple, was completed in 1929 with air conditioning and decor beyond belief. Afterward, it was a short walk to the Varsity for burgers,
dogs and ice cream! Again on MARTA, it was off to the Margaret Mitchell House (built 1899) where she wrote Gone with The Wind.
Preserved to show where and how she lived, it includes stories of making the movie. On MARTA again, we began the ride home after
a long and fun filled day in the big city!
