Hurricane IVAN visited Paradise in mid September of 2004. The story goes that a dam above Paradise gave away and here came the water. A car was lost on Lot 271 and the foot bridge between Lots 33 and 89 was damaged. It was replaced in 2005. Good thing our bridge over Town Creek is built like a tank.
