It is with mixed feelings that we say "goodbye" to John and Barbara Stone who have moved from Paradise Valley Campground, their Summer retreat, to a home not too far away in Deaton Creek, a Del Webb Community on Thompson Mill Road. Both John and Barbara have been active in the Campground. Barbara, our Garden Angel, has been busy for many years, tending to the Paradise Gardens, helping to keep this place looking good. John has shared his extensive accounting skills in support of the Campground's books and records.

Why mixed feelings? Well, we are happy that they have found a location where they want to settle but we sure will miss them around here. We are also not surprised that the new place has extensive and gorgeous landscaping. You can bet it won't be long before Barbara is out there digging in the dirt with the neighbors !

The photos tell a bit about their new location and show some of our Paradise Valley ladies who were on-board to lend a hand getting boxes unpacked and all those things put away. We understand this was really a fast crew that had everything organized in no time. We wish the Stones well as they begin the next phase in their lives. We surely will miss them !
